ParksFest was established in 2014 as a way to bring the Evansville community together for a shared music experience. The event continues to bring people together for live music, food trucks, good drinks, activities for kids and art vendors. Since 2014, ParksFest has provided live music experiences to more than 35,000 people. ParksFest is a nonprofit event. There is no cost to attend ParksFest. The festival is made possible with the support from organizations like the Arts Council of Southwestern Indiana, EVPL, Astound, Working Distributors, Bosse Music Trust, Mesker Music Trust, and other grant organizations.

ParksFest 2022 is Saturday, Oct. 1 at Garvin Park in Evansville. Music kicks off at 1 p.m. and goes until 10 p.m. EVPL and ParksFest partnered for an interactive kids activities area that includes crafts, bounce houses, face painting, live animals and more. For adults, Bokeh Lounge and Working Distributors have partnered together to provide a well-stocked beer garden all day. The Evansville Food Truck Association will have 10+ of the finest food trucks in the area for you to sample. And art, craft and other goods vendors will have items for sale in the market area.
